DANIEL J. GATTI

Graduated from Willamette University, College of Law, 1973.

Founding partner of Gatti, Gatti, Maier, Sayer, Thayer, Smith and Associates, 1975.

Dan is listed in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Law. Daniel J. Gatti specializes in serious personal injury cases, cases of sexual abuse, medical negligence cases, and class action insurance cases. Mr. Gatti has represented over 60 victims of sexual abuse by Catholic Priests and others. His insurance cases have set important precedent, and have received national media attention (20/20 and Dateline) to the benefit of his clients.

Prior to founding his practice, Dan was the Educational Law Specialist for the Oregon State Department of Education. Dan is admitted to the Oregon State Bar, Arizona State Bar, The President's Circle of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, US District Court for Oregon, Colorado and Illinois, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and United States Supreme Court.

Dan's novel "White Knuckle" is about the betrayal of innocence via sex abuse and the struggles a victim has to endure in order to become whole. Mr. Gatti has also co-authored, with his brother, Richard, four books on law:
